On room count alone, it will be one of the largest hotels in the UAE. The Enclave, on the top floors of the tower, is designed as a hotel within the hotel, with its own entrance.
Where construction stands
The tower topped out in December 2025, reaching its highest structural concrete point across 70 floors, with the spire due later in 2026. In August 2026, Wynn confirmed September 2027 as the opening month, replacing the earlier spring 2027 target, and raised the budget by around US$600 million.
Why it is not Las Vegas
When people hear "casino resort", they picture the Las Vegas Strip: dozens of resorts competing for the same visitors. That is the wrong picture. In October 2024, the UAE's gaming regulator issued Wynn the country's first commercial gaming licence. This is one flagship resort on one island, not a strip.
The scale, made legible
US$5.7 billion is hard to picture. For context, the Burj Khalifa is widely reported to have cost around US$1.5 billion to build. This single resort costs roughly three to four times that.
What it means around it
Ras Al Khaimah welcomed a record 1.35 million overnight visitors in 2025 and is targeting 3.5 million a year by 2030. A resort of this scale changes who comes, how long they stay and what they spend, and that is the demand story behind property on the island. For the numbers on that, read the Wynn effect.
